Issue: Lyric/Utopia encountered an issue when attempting to send advances and bank verification deposits via ACH on Tuesday, May 9. This is a technical issue with sending the funds from our system through the bank to user bank accounts.
Impact: For users with US bank accounts, advances and bank verification deposits for advances taken since the previous funding on May 5 are delayed, and have not been funded to user bank accounts. These advances and deposits cannot be funded until the issue is fully resolved.
Timeline:
May 9 - Issue reported; investigation by engineering started.
May 10 - Issue diagnosed, work began on a solution to fix the issue and re-send the funds
May 11 - Issue documented and logging added to limit future issues. Progress continues on re-sending the advances and bank verifications.
May 12 - The issue has been resolved and advances have been sent out. Bank verifications which failed are being handled directly with the affected individuals.
