Issue: Advances taken beginning July 6 have not been sent out. There is an issue preventing the bank data associated with advances from being used to initiate the bank transfers for each advance. The advances were approved, saved on the artists' accounts, and added to their TuneCore account, but the funds were not sent out.
Impact: Artists who requested and were approved for an advance have not received it, and advances may begin recouping soon.
Timeline:
July 7 - The issue first occurred blocking payout of advances. Issue investigated.
July 10 - Investigation continued, and the fix began
July 11 - A fix was implemented to allow the advances to be sent.
July 12 - The issue returned, but after another fix, the advances were sent out during the morning.
